Pocket Cube Solver (2x2x2) — 3D
Paint the 3D Pocket Cube below to match your real 2x2x2: drag to rotate the view, pick a colour and click the stickers, then hit Solve!. The solver finds a shortest possible solution — never more than 11 turns — and animates every move.
How to use this solver
- Orbit the 3D model and paint every sticker so it matches your puzzle. Reset paints a solved puzzle, Clear empties all stickers, Scramble loads a random position.
- Hit Solve!. Your colouring is validated first — impossible arrangements (wrong counts, mirrored or twisted corners) are rejected with the offending stickers highlighted.
- Watch the animation with Play, or step through with Back/Next while turning your real puzzle.
Move notation
A letter alone means a clockwise quarter turn, an apostrophe (') means counter-clockwise, and a 2 means a half turn. The animation always shows the exact turn, so you never have to decode notation.
